After Donald Trump was sworn into office as United States President in January 2017, a theory surfaced online that the Mandela Effect was to blame. Large groups were convinced that CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research) experiments were causing the world to shift into alternate realities – including one where Donald Trump has become president.
Sadly, physicists were quick to debunk this theory… but we’re still holding out belief (and hope!) that it’s true.
